5 Places To Visit in Malaysia

Malaysia located at the southeast Asia with Kuala Lumpur as a capital city and Putrajaya as a capital federal administrative. This country has 3 main ethnic groups that is Malay, Chinese and Indian. Those ethnic groups influence each others, what a colourful Malaysia. They have slogan “1 Malaysia (One Malaysia)” to emphasize about ethnic harmony. 1 Malaysia designed by Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Rajak on 16 September 2010. That slogan similar to Indonesia’s slogan “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika” means unity in diversity. It is inscribed in the Indonesian national symbol and is mentioned specifically in article 36A of the Constitution of Indonesia. Actually, Malaysia and Indonesia have similarity in so many things. But, I’m not going to talk deeper about this, because it is very sensitive for both Malaysia and Indonesia.

Ok, lets get back to the topic. I think every tropical countries in the world are beautiful. Malaysia is one of the tropical country, as do all countries at southeast Asia. Malaysia also has a good facilities and infrastructures to support tourism needs. Beside that, most of local people can speak English very well, so it’s easier for foreigners to communicate with them. I went to Malaysia 3 years ago and I found it was a nice country, they also had a delicious food, I also can communicate well because Indonesia and Malaysia had similar language. But, one thing that I dislike during the trip was unkind of local people, especially to Indonesian tourist. I guess may be it is because a bad tension between Indonesia and Malaysia at that time. Actually, they are a good people, I just came not in a right time. Now, The relation between Indonesia and Malaysia are getting better. Pretty job from both countries.

5. Sungei Wang
In most of my articles I always remember to write about Shopping places because I know for some of us, we have tradition to buy souvenir or gift for family and friends. So, if you plan to go to Malaysia, you can stop by here, Sungei Wang. Sungei means river, Wang means money, so everyday money flows like a river here, The guide told me that.

Sungei Wang is the most popular shopping place in Kuala Lumpur. You will find goods with international and local brands. There’s also ATM and money changer here.
